Dosafil Launches Contractors Packs And Multi-Packs Of Solid Water Treatment

Range of benefits over liquid chemicals that answers all the questions for installers and specifiers

Following the recent successful launch of the world’s first solid domestic heating water treatment solution, the DosaFil DR range of solid paste water treatment products for domestic heating systems, the company has followed this up with the launch of two multi-product packs to offer a convenient way of purchasing the products in bulk. In addition, these packs see even more plastic waste saved when using the DR range instead of traditional liquid water treatments – with no plastic bottles to landfill from working on heating systems.

The new contractors pack comes with thirty sticks of DR1 inhibitor whilst the new Distributor multi-pack mixed box comes with six packs of DR1 inhibitor – 18 sticks, 3 packs of DR2 solid cleaner sticks, two packs of DR3 solid heavy-duty cleaners sticks and one pack of DR4 Solid Biocide. Both offer a cost-effective way of purchasing multi-boxes of product and having a supply of the products to hand whether in the merchants or distributors, or for installers and contractors keeping product in the van. After years of accepting the inevitable problems that run alongside liquid chemical water treatment solutions, a company that has solved the majority of the problems associated with commercial heating and cooling system water quality issues has transferred its expertise and product benefits into the world of residential water treatment with the launch of a range of solid chemical treatment inhibitors, cleaners and biocides for the heating and plumbing sector.

DosaFil has successfully introduced a solid paste, chemical cleaner and inhibitor/system protector – for the residential heating and plumbing marketplace. The Dosafil DR range meets all the standards and guidelines that currently exist in the marketplace whilst offering a raft of benefits over liquid solutions for merchants stocking the product and installers using it – including a massive weight reduction for moving the product in bulk, far less space taken up on the merchants shelves and in the installers vans, far less mess – due to no spillage of the liquid product and a range of other benefits that merchants, specifiers and installers will see as real and tangible benefits over the need to work with liquid chemicals. There are four key products in the range – DR1 solid inhibitor sticks, which is the first solid inhibitor in the world to gain NSF International CIAS certification – formerly known as BuildCert.

Then there’s DR2 Solid Cleaner sticks, DR3 Solid heavy duty cleaner sticks and DR4 Solid biocide sticks and all the products meet the same standards as the traditional liquid competitors. These exciting new products simply make huge sense on a day-to-day basis for the people using the products. A lot less to carry around and a totally recyclable packaging option – just cardboard to recycle – the key is no plastic bottles to landfill. Then there’s the weight of the product – a typical treatment for a 100 -litre system with liquid chemicals weighs around 1.16kgs. With the DR products a mere 0.09 kgs.

The reduced weight reduces transport costs, fuel use and storage costs at a stroke. The lightweight, non-spillable solid products are easy and safe to handle and transport. It goes without saying that the new product eliminates the chance of spills and reduces COSHH impact. And there are no liquid chemical drums to dispose of – and no plastic bottles going to landfill as you can’t recycle the bottles unless you clean them first. There are significant overall costs savings over liquid chemicals as well. The solid chemicals aid IPPC and ISO 14001 compliance and last but not least they are made in the UK and proudly carry the made in Britain logo. www.dosafil.co.uk
